The III International Forum “Youth in Agriculture” was held from October 24 to October 30, 2022 at the Don State Technical University. The participants were young scientists of the Russian Federation and countries of the near and far abroad. The materials and developments obtained during the three years of intensive work of the Forum are of paramount importance for assessing the problems and prospects of agricultural development both in the Southern District and in Russia as a whole.

The III International Forum “Youth in Agriculture” included 26 sections: “Automation and digital technologies in the agro-industrial complex”, “Agrochemistry”, “Aquaculture. Fish farming”, “Biotechnology (under grant No. 075-15-2022-285 of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation)”, “Improvement of settlements. Green construction. Landscape architecture”, “Veterinary Medicine (under grant No. 075-15-2022-285 of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia)”, “Feed and feeding of farm animals”, “Forestry”,

“Mathematical modeling of applied problems of mechanics”, “Machines and equipment for breeding and seed production”, “Mechanization and electrification of agriculture”, “Food industry”, “Soil Science”, “Legal regulation of the agro-industrial complex”, “Applied problems of information and measurement technologies”, “Promotion of projects aimed at socio-economic development of regions”, “Psychological and pedagogical aspects of personnel training for the agro-industrial complex”, “Development of genetic technologies at the technical university”, “The current state and prospects for the development of the ether-oil industry”, “Modern media technologies in the communication space”, “Modern problems of machine-building industries”, “Technosphere safety”, “Tractor and agricultural engineering”, “Tourist and excursion services”, “Digital transport and logistics systems”, “Economics of the agro-industrial complex”.

Welcoming words were made by:

– Meskhi Besarion Chokhoevich – Rector of DSTU, Corresponding Member of RAO;

– Chikindas Mikhail Leonidovich – Professor of the Department of Food Science at Rutgers State University of New Jersey (USA), Head of the Research Institute “Center for Agrobiotechnology” DSTU;

– Miralimova Shakhlo Mirjamalovna, Deputy Director for Science of the Institute of Microbiology of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan (Uzbekistan);

– Dmitry Vladimirovich Rudoy – Dean of the Faculty of “Agro-industrial”, a leading researcher at the research laboratory “Center for Agrobiotechnology” of DSTU.

Within the framework of the III International Forum , the following reports of the scientific team were heard:

Rudoy Dmitry Vladimirovich – Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor, Dean of the Faculty of “Agro-Industrial”, leading researcher of the research laboratory “Center of Agrobiotechnology” of DSTU with the topic of the report “Composition of artificial intestinal environment for the study of the microbiota of the cecum of chicken”.
Mazanko Maria Sergeevna – cand. Biol. sciences, senior researcher at the Academy of Biology and Biotechnology of the Southern Federal University, senior researcher at the Research Laboratory “Center for Agrobiotechnology” of DSTU with the topic of the report “Probiotics based on transgenic microorganisms”.
Evgeniya V. Pozdnova – Doctor of Biological Sciences, Senior researcher at the Academy of Biology and Biotechnology of the Southern Federal University with the topic of the report “The effect of combined feed additives on the productivity of poultry”.
Olshevskaya Anastasia Vladimirovna – Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department “Technologies and equipment for processing agricultural products” with the topic of the report “Modern approaches to the correction of intestinal microbiota”.
Tatiana Maltseva is a senior lecturer at the Department of “Technologies and equipment for processing agricultural products” with the topic of the report “Features of the intestinal microbiota in autism spectrum disorders”.
Lipilkin Pavel Viktorovich – Assistant of the Department of Biology and General Pathology with the topic of the report “Intestinal microbiota in autism spectrum disorders: new horizons in the search for pathogenetic approaches to therapy”.
Kulikova Natalia Andreevna is a graduate student of DSTU with the topic “The impact of feed additives on the quality and environmental safety of poultry products”.
Aznabaev Marat Kimovich is a student of DSTU with the topic “Studying the effect of feed additives on the quality of adipose tissue of broiler chickens”.
Lipilkina Tatiana Aleksandrovna is a graduate student of DSTU with the topic “Modern complex feed additives”.
Following the results of the forum, the scientific team compiled and published a collection of scientific papers of the RSCI, published articles in journals indexed by the Scopus and (or) Web of Science databases.
