At the meeting of the Center leading staff, issues related to the implementation of tasks in accordance with the terms set by the project were discussed. The engineering group was pointed out to the urgent need to carry out model tests of the system, namely, a “dry run” to check the bioreactor and its computer support (maintaining pH and temperature for a long time). There was made a decision to purchase equipment for the cell-engineering module and the need to justify the purchase within the framework of the project was indicated. In vivo experiments and sample analysis have been found to be proceeding satisfactorily to date, despite numerous logistical problems, in most cases associated with poor administrative support for the project.
