INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC AND PRACTICAL CONFERENCE “AQUACULTURE 2021”

From September 20 to 24 in the SOSK “Raduga DSTU” village. Divnomorskoye hosted the first international scientific and practical conference “Development and modern problems of aquaculture” (“AQUACULTURE 2021”).

This conference is held within the framework of the comprehensive research plan “Development of aquaculture”. The organizers of this conference were Don State Technical University, together with the Southern Scientific Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences, with the support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation and the Russian Academy of Sciences.

More than 70 reports from leading representatives of the scientific, educational and industrial community were heard in full-time and distance formats.

The speakers were specialists from all over Russia and countries of the near and far abroad: Moscow, Astrakhan, Novosibirsk, St. Petersburg, Adler, Volgograd, Krasnodar, Tver, Ryazan, Saratov, Murmansk, Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, Irkutsk, the Republic of Crimea, the Republic of Karelia, the Republic of Uzbekistan, the USA, etc.

The reports were made by representatives of the scientific team of the Research Institute “Center of Agrobiotechnology” DSTU:

Chikindas Mikhail Leonidovich, Professor at Rutgers State University of New Jersey, Head of the Research Laboratory “Center for Agrobiotechnology” of DSTU with the topic of the report: “Molluscs and crustaceans: probiotics are coming”.
Ponomareva Elena Nikolaevna, Chief Researcher, Head of the Department of the Federal Research Center “Southern Scientific Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences”, Professor of the Department of “Technical Means of Aquaculture” of the Don State Technical University with the topic of the report: “Prospects for the development of Aquaculture in the southern regions of Russia”.
Vladimir Anatolyevich Chistyakov, Chief Researcher of the Academy of Biology and Biotechnology of the Southern Federal University, Chief Researcher of the Research Laboratory “Center for Agrobiotechnology” of DSTU with the topic of the report: “Probiotic bacilli in aquaculture”.
Yakovlev Dmitry Anatolyevich, Director of “Simeon AquaBioTechnology”, associate Professor of the Department of “Technology and Technology of food Production” and “Technical means of Aquaculture” of the Don State Technical University with the topic of the report: “Design of ultrasonic devices for research”.
Mazanko Maria Sergeevna, Senior researcher at the Research Laboratory “Center for Agrobiotechnology” of DSTU with the topic of the report: “Encapsulation of the probiotic strain of Bacillus in Artemia salina crustaceans used for fish feeding.”

Following the results of the conference, a collection of scientific papers of the RSCI will be published with the assignment of a digital identifier DOI. Participants of the Conference “AQUACULTURE 2021” also have the opportunity to publish articles in journals indexed by the bibliographic databases Web of Science and Scopus.
