INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC AND PRACTICAL CONFERENCE “ITSE 2021”

From September 2 to September 6, 2021 in the SOSK “Raduga” village. Divnomorskoye hosted the IX International Scientific and Practical Conference “Innovative Technologies in Science and Education” (Conference “ITSE 2021”) with the use of remote technologies.

The chairmen of the program committee of the conference made a welcoming speech: Rector of DSTU Besarion Meskhi, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, corresponding member of RASKHN – Yuri Ivanov, Acting Director of ANC “Donskoy” – Viktor Pakhomov, Dean of the Faculty “Agro-industrial” – Dmitry Rudoy.

Presentations were made by: Amazonen-Werke Advisor, Honorary Doctor of DSTU – Viktor Buksman, Head of the Center for Agrobiotechnology, Professor of Rutgers State University (New Jersey, USA), Honorary Doctor of DSTU – Mikhail Chikindas, Director of the Crimean Agricultural Research Institute – Vladimir Pashtetsky, Director of the R&D and IT Department of STEP Agroholding JSC – Sergey Tkachenko and others.

This year, the presentations exceeded the mark of 100 reports, and the geography of the conference expanded to 15 countries of the near and far abroad: Russia, Geography, Germany, USA, People’s Republic of China, Austria, Egypt, Palestine, Kazakhstan, Georgia, Republic of Belarus, Armenia, Poland, Serbia, Hungary.

Representatives of industrial partners of LLC “AMAZONE”, WINTERSTEIGER SEEDMECH, LLC “KZ “Rostselmash”, LLC “Bizon-Trade”, JSC Agroholding “STEPPE”, “Lemken” and others also took part in the conference.

One of the directions of the conference is “Innovative approaches in the creation of veterinary probiotic drugs aimed at modulating animal health”, which is implemented under grant No. 075-15-2019-1880 of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia.

With a welcoming speech, the work of the section was opened by the head of scientific research in the direction of “Veterinary probiotic drugs aimed at modulating animal health” (under grant No. 075-15-2019-1880 of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia), head of the Research Laboratory “Center for Agrobiotechnology” of DSTU, Professor of the Department of Food Science at Rutgers, State University of New Jersey, Mikhail Leonidovich Chikindas.

The reports were made by representatives of the scientific team of the Research Institute “Center of Agrobiotechnology” DSTU:

Chikindas Mikhail Leonidovich, Professor at Rutgers State University of New Jersey, Head of the Research Laboratory “Center for Agrobiotechnology” of DSTU with the topic of the report: “Probiotics for control of animal to human infections transfer: backyard farming alert”.
Zelenkova Galina Aleksandrovna, Professor of the Department of Biology and General Pathology of the Faculty of Bioengineering and Veterinary Medicine, leading researcher of the Research Laboratory “Center for Agrobiotechnology” of DSTU with the topic of the report: “The effect of diets using probiotic strains on the growth and development of broilers of the Cobb-500 cross cell content”.
Popov Igor Vitalievich, laboratory assistant of the Department of Biology and General Pathology of the Faculty of Bioengineering and Veterinary Medicine, Don State Technical University, junior researcher of the Research Laboratory “Center of Agrobiotechnology” of DSTU with the topic of the report: “New veterinary probiotic drugs of targeted action in poultry farming”.
 Evgeniya V. Pozdnova, Senior Researcher at the Academy of Biology and Biotechnology, SFU, with the topic of the report: “Oil cake as an alternative to prebiotics in animal feed.”
Romanovskaya Yulia Aleksandrovna, teacher of additional education of the Project Implementation Department “Synergistic effect of prebiotics and bacillary probiotics in the development of synbiotic feed additives”.
Mazanko Maria Sergeevna, Senior researcher at the Research Laboratory “Center of Agrobiotechnology” of DSTU with the topic of the report: “A new holistic approach to the search and selection of probiotic bacteria”.

Following the results of the conference, a collection of scientific papers of the RSCI will be published with the assignment of a digital identifier DOI. Also, the participants of the ITSE 2021 Conference have the opportunity to publish articles in journals indexed by the bibliographic databases Web of Science and Scopus.

The conference is held annually jointly with the Donskoy Agricultural Research Center, the Southern Scientific Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the Don Valley Territorial Cluster, with the support of the Department of Agricultural Sciences of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Rostov Region.
