INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC AND PRACTICAL CONFERENCE “INTERAGROMASH 2020”

From February 26 to 28, 20210, the XIII International Scientific and Practical Conference “State and prospects of development of the agro-industrial complex” (INTERAGROMASH 2020) was held in Rostov-on-Don as part of the XXIII Agro-Industrial Forum of the South of Russia and the Interagromash exhibition.

Don State Technical University, Faculty of “Agro-Industrial”, together with Ludong University (People’s Republic of China), Agricultural Research Center “Donskoy”, Southern Scientific Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Territorial Cluster “Valley of the Don”, with the support of the Department of Agricultural Sciences of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Rostov Region, Convention and Exhibition Center “Donexpocenter”, as well as industrial partners “Lemken”, “Wintersteiger”, “Amazonen Werke”, Rostselmash and Agrotechnological Holding Bizon held the annual XIII International Scientific and Practical Conference “The state and prospects of development of the agro-industrial complex” (Interagromash 2020), dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the Don State Technical University (Rostov-on-Don Institute of Agricultural Machinery). The conference was held on February 26-28, 2020 in Rostov-on-Don, as part of the XXIII Agro-Industrial Forum of the South of Russia and the Interagromash exhibition.

The event was held jointly with experts from both Russia and other countries: Germany, USA, People’s Republic of China, India, Iran, Canada, Australia, Austria, Brazil, Belgium, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Georgia, Republic of Belarus, Armenia, Poland, Latvia, Hungary. More than 340 reports were presented at the conference, more than 500 participants were present in person, the total number of participants was more than 1,500 people.

Reports and articles were presented in the following areas: “Automation and digital technologies in the agro-industrial complex”, “Agrochemistry”, “Aquaculture. Fish farming”, “Biotechnology”, “Improvement of settlements. Green construction. Landscape design”, “Veterinary Medicine”, “Feed and feeding of farm animals”, “Machines and equipment for breeding and seed production”, “Mathematical modeling of applied problems of mechanics”, “Mechanization and electrification of agriculture”, “Environmental protection in the agro-industrial complex. Human ecology”, “Food industry”, “Soil Science”, “Psychological and pedagogical aspects of personnel training for the agro-industrial complex”, “Modern media technologies in the communication space”, “Tractor and agricultural engineering”, “Tourist and excursion services”, “Economics of the agro-industrial complex”.

Within the framework of grant No. 075-15-2019-1880 of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, two sections were organized: “Biotechnology” and “Veterinary Medicine”. At the plenary session of the conference, the report “Animal probiotics: bigger, better and more” was delivered by Mikhail Leonidovich Chikindas, Professor at Rutgers State University of New Jersey, head of the Research Laboratory “Center for Agrobiotechnology” DSTU
