About the DSTU Center for Agrobiotechnology
The Center for Agrobiotechnology was created in 2019 at the Don State Technical University. The Center aims to advance fundamental and applied research in the development of novel probiotics for livestock and aquaculture, in order to improve the health and quality of farm animals.
Michael Leonidas Chikindas, Head of the Health Promoting Naturals Laboratory and Professor at Rutgers State University (New Jersey, USA), serves as the Director of the Center.
The Center was made possible through the federal project “Development of scientific and scientific-industrial cooperation: the foundation of world-class laboratories under the guidance of world-renowned scientists.”
